Weekend Itinerary

  • On this day there will be someone waiting for you outside of the reception of the airport (time of arrival will need to be confirmed with NDT Nautilus Dive Tech). We will take the highway towards NDT facilities (45 minutes drive). Once here we will place your gear in a secure locker, will show you the house and facilities, and will fill all required paperwork.

  • Our experience will start at 8:00 am with a scouting tour of the closest area, the bay of Cabo San Lucas (conservation area of flora and fauna). Where we will do our first 2 immersions, get ready to discover the amazing landscapes that the southernmost tip of the peninsula has that captivated the famous explorer Jacques Cousteau. Underwater canyons, tropical fish, the common encounter of migratory pelagic life, the sand falls, and much more.

    Our approximate time of return to NDT will be at 12:30 pm. Once back at our facilities, we will take care of rinsing the gear (cameras, computers, and scuba equipment and we will discuss the plan for the next day. We recommend resting webs since the next day is our excursion.

  • We will dedicate this full day to visiting Cabo Pulmo the best reef of the peninsula, known globally as a successful example of marine ecosystem restoration thanks to the conservation efforts of the local community.

    We will meet at NDT AT 6:00 am to make sure we have all our gear ready and drive to our destination. We will drive for 132 km (82 min). We will enjoy the sunrise with the spectacular desert landscapes and arrive in town at about 8:30 am (2-2.5 hrs trip).

    Upon arrival to Cabo Pulmo we will get to a shop with facilities (washrooms and showers) get the forms of the national park and get help to load our gear to the boat. We will try to keep things dynamic so that we can do our dives as early as possible.

    Cabo Pulmo National Park has specific rules and guidelines such as: to determine the time of the dive, they try to set them so that there is only one group per site at a specific time, 50 min maximum dive time, and they have a maximum capacity of divers per day per site. After doing our two (50 min) dives and a surface interval of 1 hour we will head back to town to use the facilities and get ready for lunch at a great local restaurant (alcoholic beverages not included). At around 2:00 pm we will get ready to head back to NDT in Cabo San Lucas.

    On our way back we will stop at 2 iconic places along the way to take some pictures and get an ice cream or snack. Approximately 3 hours to return to NDT where we will take care of the scuba gear and discuss the plan for the next day.

  • We will do 2 immersions in the Cabo area which includes the Cabo San Lucas bay and the touristic corridor which ends in Chileno Bay. In this area, we have more than 25 dive sites from rocky formations, underwater cliffs, a great variety of invertebrates, and the transient area of several migrating pelagic species with good chances of having 2 wonderful dives. The schedule will be the same as day 1, from 8:00 am to 12:30 pm. Best day to party and enjoy the nocturnal life of Cabo since is our last diving day.

  • It is time to say goodbye. With the help of the staff, we will get all of your gear ready making sure you have everything, we will verify that all paperwork was completed- ed and you will be driven to the airport at the previously established time.
